Stephan:   My interpretation of the compromise arising from the latest assault against contraception is that both sides reached the conclusion the outcome was too problematic for either, so they made a compromise that was face saving for both. This poll makes the point. I don't know about you but I find it amazingly bizarre that in the second decade of the 21st century there are people like Rick Santorum who believe contraception should be outlawed, who are seriously being considered for President.
