Stephan:   This is a catastrophic report. The climate deniers are literally putting humanity at risk. The Republican Party's denier posture on climate change, and their blocking of all meaningful remediation, in my view, amounts to treason. Voting for a Republican is a vote against humanity, and I am not using hyperbole. I have just returned from Boulder Colorado, where I saw up close and personal the devastation of their '1000 year flood,' for which they were utterly unprepared, and it is still raining. Friends of mine were devastated; and this is just the beginning. Note that I found this story in a French news service. Note also the increased outcome measures compared to the earlier IPCC report. Instead of dealing with any of this, we have a governmental crisis because one party is using America's credit as a bargaining chip. I cannot adequately convey my sense of disgust.
