There are more net jobs in the world today than ever before, after hundreds of years of technological innovation and hundreds of years of people predicting the death of work. The logic on this topic is crystal clear. Because of that, the contrary view is necessarily religious in nature, and, as we all know, there’s no point in arguing about religion.”
These are the words of tech mogul Marc Andreessen, in an e-mail exchange with me on the effect of advancing technologies on employment. Andreessen steadfastly believes that the same exponential curve that is enabling creation of an era of abundance will create new jobs faster and more broadly than before, and calls my assertions that we are heading into a jobless future a luddite fallacy.

A few people are vastly over-rating the potential for replacing people with robots. The devil is in the software. Most of those prophets know nothing about the reality of programming.
Systems changes, a global economic reset, are evolving like never before. It seems to me that the tech industries, robot industries need to help rebalance the rest of society since they are disrupting the holism.
There are many new ideas ‘in other countries than the US’, like the town of Ultrecht instated a common wage for all people under a certain wage or jobless, to equalize & pay for necessities; Iceland has closed down banks & re-instated people owned banks & alternative currencies. We will see many more positive changes to equalize society globally, ie the BRICS Bank focusing monies on sustainable, global humanitarian projects; hopefully sooner rather than later. Right now, many of us active seniors & young families & non-tech workers are hurting with no innovative plans to restore; one reason I’m creating a business to help guide people to a more passionate direction unique to their true talents, higher potential; & a collaborative/sharing community. Individuals have to stand up for individuals at this point.
