I believe human-caused climate change is real and presents a direct and deepening threat to life on Earth as we know it. I believe the air, the food and the water are all in grave peril. I can’t believe saying that remains controversial, because the evidence of it is literally on fire in front of us. The images are broadcast into our homes each night by the nightly news shows, whose anchors are at long last uttering the words, now that it might be too late.

Not sure how much hope to allow for this report of potential responses from people concerned about climate change turning out in large numbers to vote. But, it is something to ponder and hope for.
In three months we will actually see if there is enough alarm amongst our fellow Americans that translates in removing g Republicans from office.
I am a bit concerned that the progressive movement could undermine such progress with a self destructive war on moderates. Hopefully that won’t play out with too much adverse impact. There’s too much already which is incendiary. Hopefully ultra-progressives won’t take us out of a win by being extremist and losing track of the goal – to return some sanity to government
