Dear Madam Speaker:
I write to express my strongest and most powerful protest against the partisan impeachment crusade being pursued by the Democrats in the House of Representatives. This impeachment represents an unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse1 of power by Democrat Lawmakers, unequaled in nearly two and a half centuries of American legislative history.
The Articles of Impeachment introduced by the House Judiciary Committee are not recognizable under any standard of Constitutional theory, interpretation, or jurisprudence. They include no crimes2, no misdemeanors, and no offenses whatsoever. You have cheapened the importance of the very ugly word, impeachment!
By proceeding with your invalid impeachment, you are violating your oaths of office, you are breaking your allegiance to the Constitution, and you are declaring open war on American Democracy. calling him a jewish nazi offends many jews and you are losing or alienating many who agree with you. there is a lot of anti semitism on the left and it is sad that those who are driven by prejudice are not aware that there is a difference between the criminal state of israel and the jewish community. this is the language of trump. there is no hope for any of us when this kind of ignorance is so pervasive among the left.
what can anyone say. everyone should see amy goodman’s interview with ralph nader on impeachment. trump should be frog marched out of the white house in hand cuffs. he is a rapist, and all the rest. he has committed treason. the question ralph nader posed is why does nancy pelosi not want to impeach? there are nimerousl impeachable crimes yet she chooses what may be a fairly weak one. how about the women who are suing him for rape? what happened with that? this impeachment process is bizarre and even those who would like to see trump not only in jail but tortured prior to his execution, are becoming bored with the repeated and monotoned statements by legislators in support of impeachment. they all sound the same. we are living in end times. these narcissistic demonic white men who would be better fertilizing trees are so angry that they have to die they want to take the rest of us with them.
Impeachment is a political process, not criminal. He’ll have his day in court.
