This article is spot on. It has become clear that what we are seeing is “Anti-social” media. It is designed by its business model to fragment not build. It is designed to hook the attention in an addictive manner. That aspect is a feature not a bug, and as a consequence it is not a tool for children but is is used in that way. It is a purveyor of illness and dysfunction. It magnifies and distorts. In it’s unrestricted form, it is a tool which should be limited to adults.
