It is now clear that had American voters not elected him to be their next President that already multiply convicted felon Donald Trump would have been convicted yet again and be headed for prison. That is very clear in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s just-issued report. I don’t think the media is giving this anything close to the attention it deserves, and I doubt that most MAGAt Americans will even pay much attention to this reality. “Shining city of a hill,” as fascist Reagan described the United States. Not in my opinion. Instead, we are a nation going downhill at a speed I find hard to comprehend.
Special Counsel ack Smith and convicted felon President-elect Donald Trump
President-elect Donald Trump’s re-election in 2024 prevented his conviction for crimes tied to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election, according to special counsel Jack Smith’s newly released report.
The Justice Department unveiled the 137-page document early Tuesday, obtained by the New York Times, and offered a detailed look at Trump’s actions following his 2020 loss.
“When it became clear that Trump had lost the election and that lawful means of challenging the election results had failed, he resorted to a series of criminal efforts to retain power,” Smith wrote.
Smith, appointed to investigate Trump’s efforts to subvert democracy after the January 6 Capitol riot of 2021, concluded that “but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the presidency, the office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.”
The report underscored the Justice Department’s stance on presidential immunity, which halted Trump’s prosecution.
“The department’s view that the constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a president is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged,” Smith wrote.
As Biden prepares to leave office his State Department has finally done something positive about White Supremacy terrorism, the biggest civil threat in the United States. So this is good news. It will be interesting to see how the billionaires who own the big social media platforms respond to what the State Department has done. I will be following this closely.

The State Department has applied the “specially designated global terrorist” designation to the Terrorgram Collective in a groundbreaking move that for the first time sanctions a transnational white supremacist terrorist group with a significant presence in the United States.
The announcement on Monday — one week before President Biden leaves office — justified the designation based on the group “posing a significant risk of committing, or having participated in training to commit acts of terrorism that threaten the security of United States nationals or national security, foreign policy, or economy of the United States.” Terrorgram is an amalgam of the words “terror” and “Telegram,” the latter of which is a social media platform used by members to distribute propaganda.
“This is the first time you’ve seen a white supremacist group that had members or supporters in the U.S. receive the designation,” Seamus Hughes, a researcher at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology and Education Center at the University of Nebraska, told Raw Story.

DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA — Delray Medical Center cut the ribbon on its newest high-tech machine last week that targets brain areas to treat movement disorders such as essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson’s disease.
The machine can stop the involuntary trembling of the heat and hands experienced by people with neurological disorders in one treatment using focused ultrasound guided by MRI.
Neurosurgeons at Delray Medical Center already have been treating patients with uncontrollable tremors or stiffness with the earlier version of the machine developed by Insightec. During treatment, ultrasound waves enter a patient’s skull to precisely heat and destroy specific regions deep inside the brain that generate tremors.
Typically, the tremor is gone immediately and the patients go home the same day with minimal complications, said Dr. Lloyd Zucker, chief of neurosurgery at Delray Medical Center. Neurosurgeons at Delray began using the original machine 10 years ago as an alternative to surgery.

Here finally, although still too little too late, is some good news reporting something being done to clean up the fake porn and sex images and videos in the internet social media sewer. I have had several readers who have been subjected to this write and tell me how it is essentially impossible to stop the spread of fake nude pictures of them, or videos of them committing some sex act, and that it leaves a permanent emotional scar because they never know who has seen these fake images. One woman also told me she had been threatened with blackmail if she didn’t pay to stop the release to her husband of her having sex with a teenage boy. This trend is affecting untold thousands of people, particularly women, and early teen girls. And yet the billionaires who own the social media sites do nothing.

I completely agree with Michael Steele’s comments and thinking. Felon Trump with the assistance of Attorney General Merrick Garland, Judge Aileen Cannon, and President Joe Biden’s permissive complacency has essentially walked away from accountability for his multiple crimes, sex offenses, and traitorous behavior with the nation’s secret intelligence. Media is not emphasizing this anywhere near what it actually represents, but I think this is major part of what is going to define American history in the future. I can see dozens of historians 50 years from now writing their doctoral dissertations on this failure to protect the integrity of American democracy.
