The United States is a Christian nation.
That’s an idea former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has harped on time and time again during his political career.
And while he didn’t explicitly talk about it today during his presidential announcement, it’s bound to pop up some time during his campaign.
That’s because most Republicans agree that the US is a Christian nation. In fact, according to one recent survey, 57 percent of them actually want to establish Christianity as the official state religion of our republic.
That’s right – 57 percent of Republicans want to turn our democracy into a theocracy!

While I’m sure the numbers are large, I’d like to know how many people were interviewed for this subject; the questions that were posed; the geographical area; the education level, and the age level.
Not only Thomas Jefferson, but all our Founders, Framers and their wives, those who fought in the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War and all the wars through Bush’s invasion of Iraq… to name a very, very, few, must be turning over in their graves. I also include those immigrants who came to America seeking a better life, such as my grandparents and parents and everyone who has passed to spirit up to today. Those 57% need to occupy their own planet (of their own construction) and worship in their own theocracy and at the altar of greed!
