Nearly all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. now are in people who weren’t vaccinated, a staggering demonstration of how effective the shots have been and an indication that deaths per day – now down to under 300 – could be practically zero if everyone eligible got the vaccine.
An Associated Press analysis of available government data from May shows that “breakthrough” infections in fully vaccinated people accounted for fewer than 1,200 of more than 853,000 COVID-19 hospitalizations. That’s about 0.1%.
And only about 150 of the more than 18,000 COVID-19 deaths in May were in fully vaccinated people. That translates to about 0.8%, or five deaths per day on average.
The AP analyzed figures provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC itself has not estimated what percentage of hospitalizations and deaths are in fully vaccinated people, citing limitations in the data.
Among them: Only about 45 states report breakthrough infections, and some are more aggressive than others in looking for such cases. So the data probably understates such infections, CDC officials said.

I would like to know how a person who has gotten both vaccinations can still get the virus. Is it the variants? I would assume it must be. I imagine we will all have to get some sort of booster later that can correct the variant problem which I assume is the only problem which could be able to get past the two covid-19 shots we have already gotten. I wish they could identify the reason a fully vaccinated person could get the virus. Maybe we should still wear masks even though we have gotten both vaccines, what do you think?

You see, man has been on this earth for 100 000 years, and has never needed any vaccinations to survive, ever.
A hundred years ago there was an influenza pandemic. And that was made severe by the massive vaccination campaigns for the US military troops and the start of AM radio.
The vaccinations they are pushing for now are experimental at best. Only a complete fool would take any injections like that.

Yes man/woman have been on the planet a long time and during that time there have been diseases that have ‘culled the herd”. As population, civilization and trade ebbed and flowed so then have contagious disease that killed until enough died to slow and stop it. Long, long, long before Jenner came along in 1796 people died sometimes in great numbers though doubtless it strengthened the gene pool.
There was no massive vaccination campaign except for the war effort then only soldiers and for a few bacterial infections. There were no viral vaccines, no knowledge of viruses and no national vaccination program of any kind. Apparently there was some experimentation that was a complete failure but how does this then cause the spread of the killer flue worldwide? Some “sources” claim the there was no flu, all deaths caused by medical intervention, bs! Not even worth talking about it you buy into such tripe.
Now I do agree that mRNA technology is new and experimental but it seems effective and considering the millions that have received it a small percentage of side-effects. Long-term we will see who’s the fool.
All media should not be taken at face value most of all include that deep state/QAnon crap, the earth is not flat. Still I agree that our world is not always what it appears to be and we are governed by elites that profit hugely by playing us like the proverbial fiddle.
