I am not certain what the total weight of the entirety amount of asphalt in phx would be (I’m sure it is a robust number) but imaging it as one solid ball sitting under the sun on a hot summer day – it cannot be “helping” stabilize the situation
Even here in Pa. I have to turn on the AC every night just to be able to get to sleep. I cannot imagine how bad my electricity bill would be if our temperature would become over 100 degrees. I cannot handle heat because I must spend a lot of time outside working in my garden with my back brace on and come in so sweaty that I must shower a lot which is costly.
