Karamo made the remarks on Thursday after 16 Republicans pleaded not guilty to a scheme to replace lawful Democratic electors with a fake slate claiming Trump had won the 2020 election in Michigan.
The GOP chair told podcast host Charlie Kirk that MAGA voters needed to get involved.
“We need everyone to get involved with the Michigan Republican Party in this state and share this information with your friends,” she said. “One of the reasons why the individuals like Dana Nessel is able to get away with what she’s doing [is] because average people are allowing it to occur.”

Trump MUST be convicted! That will be a boost for people who would vote for him, not to even think about voting for him! Those Republicans who would vote for a criminal like Trump would be considered insane by anyone with an understanding of Psychology.
fear is the most dangerous, most contagious energy that exists. And unfortunately, for close 200 years, the press has followed the credo, if it bleeds, it leads. I’m not saying that the disasters that are not occurring, ie Maui aren’t real..That the political divide and the MAGA’s don’t exist. But misinformation has led to much of the political divide.Willful manipulation of political news is rampant. The extremists the news sources that light fires and build hate, Of course, there’s the bad, scary stuff. I remember an article in the NYT a few years back when all of this was starting. The paper ran a numbers test to see what articles were being shared the most and were surprised to see that shared were stories about the positive were the ones that clocked in with the highest numbers. We need BALANCE. Unfortunately, we’re now at a point where misinformation, esp about the Biden and some of the positive things he’s done have disappeared in local rags and nationally..If it bleeds, it leads..I may be wrong, but I keep sensing that more than anything the underlying motivation of much of this is about fear based greed. Fear based violence
Yes, Sam: fear, greed and violencs are the cornerstone of the Republican polititions. They actually win with that theory, and that is what scares me.
