Remember that crushing feeling when we lost Roe v. Wade? The experts warned us. The Christian nationalists told us that was their main goal and the litmus test for their judges. Still, the moment was as devastating as it was surprising. Big steps backward don’t seem possible. But they are. And we’re on the precipice of another appalling and disastrous backward slide.

Albert Einstein once said, and I quote “the Buddhist religion is the best religion because it has been proven that it’s use of meditation has been studied at Harvard and is good for your health”. I know that is true because I have been using Transcendential Meditation since I learned it from the “Hindu” perspective from the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi back in 1971, just after the “Beatles” learned it, and have been using it ever since. I believe that you, too have been using it a long time, Stephan. At least, I think you actually told me about it!
P.S.: I believe Transcendential Meditation should be a required subject in our schools; from an early age!
