Merrick Garland’s failure to protect us from the anti-American madman who attacked our country, and now wants to finish us off, has been a catastrophic dereliction of duty unmatched in American history.
I am not here to needlessly pile on or distract us from our important work of making good and damn sure Kamala Harris is elected next month, but I do think it is vital we understand that our attorney general’s — the most powerful law enforcement officer in the world — refusal and/or inability to do his job upon his appointment in 2021, has put this country in tremendous danger.
He is without a doubt Joe Biden’s greatest mistake, and we must now hold our breaths for the next 30-plus days hoping that that mistake won’t be a tragic footnote to the story about America’s once-great democracy.
In light of the eye-opening and much-anticipated filing from special counsel Jack Smith Wednesday, I feel […]
I agree to an extent about Merrick Garland and his delay in prosecuting Trump, but the articles I have read is that he follows the letter of the law and has all the t’s crossed and i’s dotted and his cases take lots longer. He should have been a SCOTUS justice because he’s an excellent judge and we can thank McConnell for his not being one and look whom we got instead!!!! WE just have to hope that Trump loses the election so that he can be properly tried and, hopefully, spend some time in jail!!!!
Never, ever, forget that this was the man that Obama thought was worthy of the Supreme Court. I have been pointing out his incompetence since is appointment to his current position. Sadly, the system is so compromised that recovery will be difficult. We certainly don’t have a well functioning Justice system. Rooting the system in actual truth might be a good start, but it is in short supply. At least Garland’s damage will be limited to this administration and not spread across administrations as would have been the case had he been confirmed to the court.
