When I began Schwartzreport my purpose was to produce an entirely fact-based daily publication in favor of the earth, the inter-connectedness and interdependence of all life, democracy, equality for all, liberty, and things that are life-affirming. Also, to warn my readers about actions, events, and trends that threaten those values. Our country now stands at a crossroads, indeed, the world stands at a crossroads where those values are very much at risk and it is up to each of us who care about wellbeing to do what we can to defend those principles. I want to thank all of you who have contributed to SR, particularly those of you who have scheduled an ongoing monthly contribution. It makes a big difference and is much appreciated. It is one thing to put in the hours each day and to do the work for free, but another to have to cover the rising out-of-pocket costs. The racist fascism of the MAGAt cult just gets more and more explicit. It is a central part of the Great Schism Trend. How could a convicted January 6 rioter creep who even tries to look like Hitler be the recipient of an award at Trump sponsored convention? How could it be that in your face? The answer is that traitor Trump is the voice of the movement, not the movement. There are a large number of frightened, angry, resentful Americans who want the United States to become an authoritarian fascist country. The only thing that is going to stop this trend is a strong majority personally and politically committed to fostering wellbeing. Are you prepared to be one of them?

A convicted Jan. 6 rioter and Nazi sympathizer was honored with an award last month at former President Donald Trump’s golf club in New Jersey, according to a new report.
“Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf club hosted a convicted Jan. 6 rioter and alleged Nazi sympathizer twice this summer, where he was celebrated and gave speeches,” Dreisbach wrote. “At one event, Trump sent a video praising the attendees as ‘amazing patriots.’ At the other, he won an award.”
Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt told the reporter, “President Trump did not attend these events, and, of course, he absolutely condemns bigotry and hatred of any kind.”
Awards were also given to MyPillow CEO and voting machine conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell, as well as attorneys Jeffrey Clark and John Eastman, both of whom have been indicted for their roles in trying to help Trump overturn the 2020 presidential election, Dreisbach reported.
This article explains why I am so concerned about MAGAt political violence around this election. Personally, I think the office of sheriff should be eliminated. It is a left over from medieval England that took root in the American colonies before police departments were established. But it is very revealing about the consciousness of a community because today it is the only elective law enforcement office. For the people of Portage County, Ohio to elect a cretin like Bruce Zuchowski for sheriff tells you a very sad story about that county.

Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski seemed to encourage his friends and supporters to write down the addresses of people with Democratic yard signs, sparking accusations of voter intimidation.
In identical posts to his personal and public Facebook accounts on Sept. 13, Zuchowski wrote what he claims to tell people who ask him what will happen if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidential election. Using dehumanizing language, he says he tells them to record the addresses of people with Harris yard signs in order to house immigrants with them.
“When people ask me…What’s gonna happen if the Flip – Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say…write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo…when the Illegal human “Locust” (which she supports!) Need places to live…We’ll already have the addresses of the their New families…who supported their arrival!” the posts stated, along with accompanying pictures of a television tuned to Fox News.

Except for posting SR on Facebook, and Linked-in, I don’t use social media. SR is fact-based, and it is almost impossible to know whether something you are reading on social media is actually accurate and truthful. This reality has become such a dominant trend in the U.S, that one of the central problems with the culture of the United States today is that most people get their news through social media. It is creating the pervasive weaponization of misinformation and the astonishing ignorance of much of the American population. This report is an example of what is happening, and how dangerous to social wellbeing this is.

Social media is being flooded by digitally created “deepfake” videos using the trusted identities of famous doctors to promote dangerous miracle cures for serious health problems, experts warn.
Videos on Facebook and Instagram have taken advantage of the credibility of star TV doctors to advertise untested “natural” syrups for diabetes, even claiming that the proven, first-line drug metformin “could kill” patients.
These scams risk endangering lives, experts said, particularly because they deploy the likenesses of popular health experts such as British TV presenter Michael Mosley, who died earlier this year.
“People do seem to trust these videos,” British doctor John Cormack told AFP.
“A lot of these media doctors have spent a great deal of time creating an image of trustworthiness, so they are believed even when they make incredible claims,” said Cormack, who has worked with the British Medical Journal (BMJ) on the subject.

As we get closer to the election the MAGAt christofascists are becoming more explicit and open about their beliefs and what they want the United States to become. It is all part of the Great Schism Trend that is making us two countries in a single nation. I think we are going to see an increased call from the MAGAt controlled states for secession. Tucker Carlson, a fascist propagandist who became so blatant he was fired from the Fox propaganda channel, like Traitor Trump is a voice of this movement. What I see, as I said in the previous article, is that these despicables are voices of the movement but it will continue even if Trump loses because about a third of Americans have become racist, christofascists. Why? it is the result of the precognition of the future, and the fear it has produced, that is now shaping humanity.

Tucker Carlson may have reached a disturbingly new low when he hosted a two-hour podcast with Darryl Cooper, a Nazi apologist whom he called “the best and most honest popular historian in the United States.”
Cooper’s audacious claims that Winston Churchill, not Adolf Hitler, was the “chief villain of the Second World War” and that the Holocaust was essentially an accident prompted widespread indignation on the establishment right. National Review Executive Editor Mark Antonio Wright declared, “No, Winston Churchill was not the ‘chief villain’ of the Second World War,” while Liz Cheney observed, “No serious or honorable person would support or endorse this type of garbage.” Others, such as Bari Weiss, have pointed to Pat Buchanan and his 2008 book Churchill, Hitler, and The Unnecessary War as the origin of conservatives’ revisionism about World War II and the Holocaust.

Tanks were once the king of the battlefield. But the proliferation of drones in Ukraine means the large, noisy vehicles can be spotted and targeted within minutes. That has seen dozens of cutting-edge Western tanks used only sparingly in the battle they were meant to shape, while others have been damaged, destroyed or captured.
In response, armies are adding technology to tanks to spot and protect against drones while also exploring design changes to make the heavy, armored vehicles more maneuverable. Battlefield tactics are already changing and lessons from Ukraine are being integrated into training.

While 155 countries have committed to reducing methane emissions by 30 percent by 2030 under the Global Methane Pledge, new research reveals that the world’s methane emissions have been rising at a record pace over the last five years.
In a new perspective article published in Environmental Research Letters, the researchers warn this dire pattern “cannot continue if we are to maintain a habitable climate.” The article was published with corresponding figures in Earth System Science Data.
Concentrations of methane in the atmosphere have grown to more than 2.6 times what they were during pre-industrial times and the highest the planet has seen in 800,000-plus years.
The MAGAt cult is doing everything it can to rig the election and getting more desperate day-by-day as the polls favor Harris and Walz. They have no ethical standards about this at all. I suggest you contact whoever oversees voting in your area and ask them who new has joined the organization that oversees your election. Do they have any history of MAGAt involvement? If they do see if you can challenge the appointment. Those of us who support democracy. Those of us who want the United States to remain a democracy that fosters wellbeing need to not only vote but, where we can, get involved in the process.

More than 100 election officials across eight swing states in the U.S. presidential race have engaged in partisan election denial in recent years, raising fears they could try to turn the November result in favor of Republican nominee Donald Trump, according to a report released Friday.
The 88-page report, produced by the Center for Media and Democracy (CMD), details the election denial history of 102 county and state election officials in Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The authors found that election deniers have majority control of 15 county election boards in those states and of the statewide board in Georgia.

I hate these stories. I hate what this man is doing to our nation. The reality is, however, that even if traitor Trump loses the chaos he has created will continue because he is its voice, not its cause. The Great Schism Trend has become a cancer and the only way it is going to be cured is when enough of us commit to making fostering wellbeing are daily priority. Donald Trump could rightly be seen as a Russian asset, according to a former FBI director the ex-president fired in his first term.
Andrew McCabe appeared on the One Decision podcast co-hosted by former British intelligence agency chief Sir Richard Dearlove, who asked whether he thought it possible that Trump was a Russian asset, and he said, “I do, I do,” reported The Guardian.
“I don’t know that I would characterize it as [an] active, recruited, knowing asset in the way that people in the intelligence community think of that term,” McCabe said. “But I do think that Donald Trump has given us many reasons to question his approach to the Russia problem in the United States, and I think his approach to interacting with Vladimir Putin, be it phone calls, face-to-face meetings, the things that he has said in public about Putin, all raise significant questions.”
